Ready to Make a Difference? Apply Today! DIVISION - LEGAL POSITION TYPE - This is a hybrid position and is eligible for telecommuting up to four (4) days a week. The Legal division represents the public interest in contested cases before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH) and the Commission. The division also provides legal and policy advice to agency staff and the Commissioners. The Legal division is seeking a Legal Secretary with a strong initiative, a passion for the utility regulatory industry, and a drive to grow their career, knowledge, skills, and experience performing complex to advanced legal secretarial work in the Legal Division. Primary duties involve providing administrative support for division management, attorneys, and legal assistants. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications. Legal Secretary III High school graduation or GED equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years of legal secretarial, high-level administrative assistant or records management experience. Legal Secretary IV High school graduation or GED equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of legal secretarial, high-level administrative assistant or records management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working for a state agency as a legal secretary, administrative assistant or records management. VETERAN'S PREFERENCE Veterans, Reservists, or Guardsmen with a Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) or additional duties that fall in the fields listed in the below link who meet the minimum qualifications are encouraged to apply.
