Seeking a candidate with strong leadership qualities and characteristics that seeks to be a great leader, to support a role that will be instrumental in supporting critical network operations, ensuring the reliable and secure delivery of network services. Candidate will join a diverse global Network Services team at CBRE with responsibility over all operational aspects of corporate networking infrastructure, including network security, layer 2 and layer 3 switching, routing, Wireless, Firewall, internet connectivity, SDWAN/WAN, Cloud, VPN, NAC, Load Balancing, Monitoring and Voice solutions. Qualified candidate will ensure that network operations are secure, reliable, and efficient by monitoring, analyzing and reporting on network capacity, utilization, and future trending. The IT Network Services team works closely with all global IT departments developing roadmaps to continuously deliver, support and enable success for CBRE's businesses across multiple geographical territories and all businesses within our international portfolio of companies. What you'll do - Lead a team of up to 8 Network Operations Engineers providing guidance, mentorship, and technical direction.
- Supervise and maintain network performance, solve problems and issues, ensure efficient network availability with a main focus on security for all considerations.
- Work closely with other network Architecture and Operations Engineers, various IT Architects, Analysts and partners.
- Work with IT teams, Network Services and business customers to develop network infrastructure solutions and strategies to satisfy business requirements.
- Manage all ticket queues to ensure tickets are created, responded to and completed in a timely manner with appropriate notes and information for historical purposes.
- Leverage partner and vendor ticketing systems to ensure that all issues are supervised via a support case to support customer concern and historical purposes.
- Perform technical support between Network Services and other IT technical engineering groups, supporting the maintenance and installation, migration of new software, system upgrades, and general technical modifications.
- Work with business partners in the deployment of network services to support new construction and office modernization efforts
- Lead and coordinate Network Engineers and vendor partners in support of network-related projects ensuring timely completion and alignment to budget and standards.
- Document and maintain topology diagrams, standards, standard operating procedures, process documents, and training and support material.
- Participate in after hours on call support rotation with other members of the team
- Flexibility to work long hours under pressure during system outages and major implementations.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and supporting network services in a large and sophisticated environment showing effective processes and established standards

Technology Experience - Technical knowledge and working experience, designing, configuring, deploying and maintaining various Cisco switching platforms to include (Cisco ACI SDN, Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K and 2K, Cisco Catalyst 9k, 39xx, 38xx 29xx chassis and stack-based switches) as well as any Arista SDN systems.
- Technical knowledge and working experience, designing, configuring, and maintaining various Cisco routing platforms to include (ASR 1001, 1002 series, ISR 43xx, 44xx, 45xx, Catalyst 8k routers) as well as most common routing protocols, OSPF, BGP, IGRP, ISIS).
- Technical knowledge and working experience, deploying, configuring and maintaining network security appliances Palo Alto Firewalls and tunneling technologies, (IPS/IDS/IPDS, DMVPN, VTI, IPsec, SSL client VPN, URL Filtering/Layer 7 policies).
- Technical knowledge and working experience designing, maintaining and provisioning of various Internet and WAN topologies (MPLS, VPLS/EVC, DIA, DWDM, Point to Point)
- Technical knowledge and working experience configuring, deploying and maintaining enterprise segmentation systems to include, 802.1x, NAC using technologies that include Forescout and/or Cisco ISE. Configuration of discovery, profiling and enforcement policies as well as monitoring of active policies for effectiveness.
- Technical knowledge and working experience configurating and maintaining IPAM solutions, DNS, DHCP and Certificate Authority management and support.
- Technical knowledge and solve experience with network monitoring protocols and/or systems (TAPs, SNMP, IP Helper, Syslog, NetFlow, IP SLA, etc.) as well as experience performing deep packet inspection and root cause analysis using packet capture software.
- Technical knowledge and working experience configuring and maintaining Cisco SDWAN, preferred (Meraki, Viptela), experience with other SDWAN solutions accepted.
- Technical knowledge and working experience configuring and maintaining Cloud Infrastructure (Network Access, INET Edge, Network Security and Load Balancing) for Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Practical experience creating utilization reports using netflow tools to supervise utilization, establish baseline information that will be used to make business decisions around capacity management.
- Intermediate technical knowledge and working experience configuring and maintaining Cisco or Juniper Wireless LAN Controller technologies and Wireless Access Points as well as experience with 802.11a, b, g, n, ac and ax, 2.4 and 5Ghz frequencies, and wireless optimization configurations for optimized client servicing, roaming and location services.
- Working technical knowledge basic experience maintaining application load balancing solutions (F5 LTM, GTM, GLSG, APM and ASM).
- Experience supporting Cisco Unified Communication System.
What you'll need - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management, Computer Science or other related field - Preferred not required
- 6+ years of experience in network operations and engineering required, with 2 years in leadership role preferred.
- Cisco certifications in networking technologies (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of network security standard methodologies and compliance requirements (HIPPA, PCI, DSS)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid aptitude and desire to learn and expand skills to new technologies related to networking services.
