- Negotiable Sign-on/Relocation BonusJob Description:As a Psychiatrist at Reliatus Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to our clients. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Essential duties include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments/evaluations and mental status examinations (MSEs) of patients, providing multi-axial diagnoses according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) approved by the American Psychiatric Association; developing and implementing individualized mental health treatment planning for assigned child/adolescent patients; providing competent psychotropic medication treatment and other psychiatric treatments to meet the needs of assigned patients; performing related tasks as required. Your expertise will contribute to improving the well-being of individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.We are located in Coastal Pembroke, MA is currently recruiting a Psychiatrist for their Inpatient Adult Services. We offer Inpatient adult, older adult (50+), and adolescent programs, as well as partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for adults and adolescents. Our treatment programs include the capacity to manage co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders as well as sub-acute medical co-morbidities. Collaboration, compassion, and respect are the guiding principles of our multi-disciplinary team's approach to helping patients achieve recovery and mental wellness. Offering $375k base, plus productivity. 36 Days Paid Time OffJob Responsibilities:
- Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing
- Analyze data and results of assessments to diagnose patients
- Prescribe and administer medications according to diagnosis
- Monitor patients to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medications
- Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, psychologists, and nurses to assess and adjust treatment plans
- Coordinate and communicate with case managers and other stakeholders about treatment and careJob Qualifications:
