As a Lead for the New York Metro Distribution Center, it is imperative that the leadership team remain engaged, focused, and committed to the success of the operation. - Effective use of systems including but not limited to checking emails and responding to items impacting you and your area, AS400, Access Databases, RF unit, etc., to facilitate necessary people movement based on needs of operation.
- Communicates well with other leads and employees.
- Makes timely and effective decisions based on objectives and goals.
- Address issues effectively and immediately and do not avoid them as they arise.
- Reinforce leadership team's mission and objectives when out on the floor.
- Effectively manage area of responsibility to assist with meeting OT% objectives.
- Actively participates in shift start meetings, lead meetings, department meetings and All Employee Meetings. ILEAD Competencies - These may be customized based on the individual and their participation with an IDP and desired improvements.

- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience. Critical Requirements
- MHE certified.
- Advanced knowledge of AS-400
- Good attendance (must be below a Written warning corrective action) Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of Material Handling issues; basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Good communication skills
- Self-starter / problem solver
