  Job Details
  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
  • When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
  • Candidate must have credentials and NM state licensing (medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy).
  • This must be completed by the 1st Friday of the 1st week of the traveler's contract.
  • If a copy or the original is not provided your traveler will be taken off of the schedule and guaranteed hours will not apply.
    Job Requirements
    • Must be registered in vascular as RVT or RVS by ARDMS or CCI and have NM state ultrasound licensee - RVT/RVS required.
    • BLS/BCLS certifications required.
    • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
    • 2 years experience in current specialty required.
    • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
    • The individual must demonstrate skills necessary to function in the Echo lab.
    • Candidate must be able to perform general and vascular,
    • Candidate must have advanced knowledge in basic knowledge of imaging equipment.
    • Candidate must be able to work cohesively with other team members.
    • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
      Schedule Information
      • Variable shift position On Call requirements
      • Weekend requirements Y
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • Holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
      • ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

        • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
        • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
        • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
