Certification Details

  Job Details
  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS

  • 2 years experience current required in ED/Urgent Care & Med-Surg experience required
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
    Job Requirements
    • EPIC EMR experience preferred
    • Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required
      Schedule Information
      • 12 hour nights shift position (starts at 1800)
      • Call: if needed
      • Weekends: as needed
      • Holidays: As needed
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
      • On call, weekends, holidays, and float as needed
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts
      • Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5 if needed
      • ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training
        Unit Specific Information
        • Will float to Medical Unit and ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands
          Additional Details
          • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position
          • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice
