About the Role The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on fund-related legal matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the compliance of all fund agreements, including PPMs, IMAs, subscription documents, and LLC/partnership agreements. This role involves working closely with the General Counsel and internal teams to provide legal guidance across various investment vehicles. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in offshore fund governance, managing corporate, investment management, and fund-related legal matters, and collaborating with the Chief Compliance Officer on regulatory filings.Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a law degree with strong academic credentials and 5-10 years of legal experience, with a focus on fund formation and investment products. Expertise in the Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act, UCITS, and CFTC/NFA rules is essential, as is familiarity with global compliance regulations such as ERISA, Bank Holding Company Act, AIFMD, and AML/KYC. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical, judgment, and project management skills, who can work both independently and in collaboration with outside counsel.
