Fully Remote --- INThe Vice President of New Growth & Strategic Accounts leads and manages the planning and execution of successful program growth strategies that drive student access and opportunity to PLTW programs and expand the organization's footprint, specifically within new to network districts and designated strategic accounts. The VP of New Growth & Strategic Accounts has a strong focus on aligning marketing and sales efforts to maximize the new to network customer and Strategic Account growth. This role supports the larger Engagement Team by developing strategic and tactical plans, troubleshooting barriers, and leveraging operational and strategic tactics to meet the diverse needs of strategic account schools and districts. In addition, this role leads efforts to address and remedy preventative barriers and create scalable and systematic approaches to advance PLTW as a solution. The Vice President of New Growth and Strategic Accounts develops, recruits, and mentors a high performing field-based team, providing vision, leadership, and direction, ensuring that work is in alignment with PLTW's strategic mission. This role collaborates cross functionally to develop and formally propose annual growth strategies, forecasts, and goals to the senior leadership team prior to integration into the organizational strategic planning process. The ability to travel regularly is an essential component of this position.RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and manage the successful planning and execution of strategies to support targeted growth within new to network districts and strategic accounts.
- Lead team in establishing aggressive yet attainable team and individual goals that meet or exceed forecasted targets.
- Oversee and lead all strategic accounts associated engagement activities including prospecting, lead and opportunity pipeline management, closing deals, transition for implementation support, and ongoing relationship management within assigned portfolio.
- Recruit, develop and retain a talented team equipped with the skills to meet and exceed assigned goals and hold team members accountable.
- Build and develop a high-performing team of customer-centric sales and customer success leaders and professionals.
- Accurately forecast team performance to inform PLTW business decisions.
- Develop and manage budget.
- Utilize the CRM system to monitor individual and team activity and performance against goals.
- Support team in the development of customized pitches, compelling product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to address common issues and barriers, identify skill gaps within the team and share best practices.
- Ensure that overall targets are met.
- Remain current on new product offerings, marketing campaigns, funding opportunities, policy issues and operational changes or enhancements.
- Represent the organization at select events, conferences, speaking engagements for the broader PLTW network as appropriate.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, trends, and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities and propose strategies to leverage this information to further our reach in alignment with PLTW's strategic initiatives.
- Identify and recommend potential opportunities to incorporate innovative methods and emerging trends within area of expertise.
