The patient population reflects a variety of diagnoses to include cardiac care such as heart failure, stable myocardial infarction, chest pain, and patients requiring cardiac diagnostic testing. This unit is the dedicated stroke downgrade unit which includes collaboration with IMC, ICU, and our stoke navigator.   18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty.
  Behavioral Health - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
  Emergency Care - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 90 days of hire.
  BLS required within 90 days of hire.
