Location - Bentonville, AR - Onsite from day one



Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Microservices & Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and implement cloud-native microservices that drive critical aspects of Walmart's eCommerce and retail platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You will be part of a team responsible for implementing distributed systems that meet Walmart's high standards for reliability and performance



5+ years of experience in microservices architecture, design, and implementation. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, with hands-on experience in designing and managing infrastructure. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes



Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Node.js. Proficiency in REST APIs, gRPC, and other service integration protocols. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Knowledge of monitoring tools and distributed tracing solutions (e.g., Jaeger, Zipkin). More...
