The Role - In this role, you will: - Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of moderate to high complexity for the GPS Hardware product lines.
- Ensure proper packaging of systems to obtain optimal thermal and structural design
- Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture and analysis in area of domain expertise
- Support root-cause-analysis and technical investigations for Navigation and Sensor Systems designs
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of moderate to high complexity
- Provide mechanical engineering design support to manufacturing staff and operators Who you are:

- Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in a 3D CAD solid modeling software package (SolidWorks and/or UG NX preferred) Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with FEA software package (ANSYS preferred)
- Experience with military aerospace testing standards
- Experience with plastics and potting materials
