• Must be self-motivated, well-organized, flexible, and able to handle the pressure of a high-volume operation with a high sense of urgency.
• Schedule, expedite, and monitor shipments for inbound and outbound material.
• Maintain record retention according to PACCAR Company Policy.
• Prepare export shipments within the SAP
• Maintain accurate tracking information/reporting
• Ability to make balanced business decisions with regard to freight routing.
• Communicates with freight carriers to coordinate shipping lanes and activities.
• Files freight claims for loss or damage with carriers
• Evaluates carrier routes and alternative carriers as needed.
• HazMat trained and shipment document preparation
• Periodic travel for training is required.
• Preparation and submission of Customs Export Documents
• Ability to work a flexible schedule - hours may vary on occasion in order to support production requirements.

  Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
  • Traffic experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Customer service oriented
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with the internet
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Candidate must be able to operate independently and with little to no guidance.
  • Must be a positive contributor to a team environment.
