Conducts special studies and analyses, develops alternatives, presents recommendations to management and influences management decisions. Researches, analyzes, develops and implements new strategies, programs, and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions.Responsibilities - Support all asset management related activities for the T&D organization.
- Perform analysis on company owned assets to prioritize maintenance and capital investments.
- Develop new asset policy, and perform updates on existing policy as required. Communicate policy updates with all impacted stakeholders, to include maintenance review committee, field operations, investment delivery, and field support staff.
- Perform presentations / lead discussions with senior management, field operations staff and regulatory agencies on asset management issues for PacifiCorp.
- Collaborate with groups to analyze and develop capital projects to ensure a high level of reliability and customer service.
- Facilitate joint-owned asset capital projects with other entities (BPA). Review capital projects to ensure investments are prudent and technical requirements are applicable.
- Conduct maintenance review activities with field operations and support staff to ensure new/updated maintenance programs are administered.
- Develop performance assessments on T&D assets, identifying major issues and risks that can be used to make decisions to improve efficiency of assets.
- Perform audits on equipment documentation and processes for major construction projects.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the company on assigned asset management topics.
