Key Responsibilities

Coordinate care for referral orders and facilitate access to medical services
Schedule complex specialty appointments and communicate pre and post appointment instructions to patients
Document contact attempts and notify providers regarding any changes to ordered services


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Graduate
Typically requires 1 year of experience in a medical group with a focus on patient care coordination
Experience in Epic specialty scheduling preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer requirements
