Responsibilities for Quality Engineers include but are not limited to the following:



Helps in establishing, implementing, maintaining, improving, administering the company quality management system (Including Quality Manual, QOP¿s, SOP¿s, Quality Records, and other applicable documents) and ensures that it is consistent with established industry standards (including but not limited to J-STD-001, IPC-610, and ISO 9001-2008), government regulations and customer requirements.



Develops, maintains, uses, and analyzes statistical process control (SPC) methodology to monitor, recommend and implement improvements in targeted areas of the organization.



Oversees internal audits. Reviews and implements improvements based on the data.



Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.





Quality Engineer candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:



EDUCATION (PREFERRED): Degree in quality, statistics, engineering, or management

EXPERIENCE: Quality Engineering including statistics

Will have a fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer expectations and satisfaction, supplier relations and performance, leadership, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems and professional ethics.



Will have a basic understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up. Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.



Practical understanding of IPC workmanship standards or willingness to learn.

Practical understanding of ISO 9000 Quality System or willingness to learn.

Ability to type and use computer equipment. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and statistical software (QI Macros, MiniTab, JMP, or similar).

Ability to read and understand technical procedures, pc board data, BOM¿s, etc.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, employees, and public group.



Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
