The RNincorporates teaching principles into practice and demonstrates competence in health promotion and disease prevention. The RN demonstrates qualities consistent with the role applying leadership skills appropriately. The RN uses critical thinking and data collection systematically in the delivery of nursing care on their unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift. The RN incorporates the appropriate assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluationin their nursing process. The RN develops and maintains human care relationships and integrates the influence of the human experience of health, illness and/or healing.
