The Quality Engineer will provide high-level, non-supervisory quality engineering support, focusing on the implementation of the quality program at the value stream level, under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and Value Stream Manager (VSM). - Support design engineers to ensure products meet safety, environmental, and specification requirements.
- Develop and manage documentation for floor-level processes, including design requirements and compliance.
- Engage in root cause analysis and collaborate with inspectors to resolve quality issues (GD&T knowledge helpful).
- Translate customer-defined quality requirements into product design and quality documentation for quotes and order implementation.
- Review and update legacy documents and drawings for ASME Code compliance and alignment with HTI's program.
- Review and disposition Engineering Change Requests, supporting the value stream.
- Provide quality assistance to the manufacturing floor, resolving conflicts and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Disposition Discrepant Material Reports, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to manage risks and meet production schedules.
- Review supplier documentation for conformance to purchase order requirements.
- Participate in customer and third-party surveys and audits.
- Substitute for the Quality Administrator during absences or high workflow periods.
- Represent the company in quality-related user groups and conferences.

- Engineering degree (preferred) with experience in specifications and ISO documentation.
- Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply - MUST have a degree in engineering!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with teams.
- Background in nuclear or non-destructive evaluation (NDE) is a plus but not required.
