Responsibilities include management of orthopedic patients of all ages with services that advance healing, minimize disability and enhance quality of life. - We focus on functional rehab and performance by collaborating with orthopedic referral sources, especially in the area of total joint replacements.We provide a positive, encouraging work environment and have excellent clinical staff retention. - This is a small site which provides a warm and supportive environment ideal for the patients seen at this location. - JOB DESCRIPTION: - Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans appropriate for patient functional limitations.
- Skillfully applies therapeutic techniques to address patient treatment needs.
- Develops trusted relationships with referring providers, contributing to marketing and community outreach efforts.
- Helps ensure well-run clinical operations by completing necessary documentation and billing in a quality manner.
- Manages caseload effectively
- Demonstrates the flexibility to accommodate and facilitate proficient patient care, including a willingness to provide care at more than one rehab therapy site as needed.
- Stays current with trends and practices in therapeutic evaluation and treatment, supporting evidence-based practice.
- Participates in clinical staff education, meetings and quality improvement programs for patient care and staff development projects.
- Demonstrates excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Supervises physical therapy students to develop their clinical skills and ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Complies with all pertinent rules and regulations within the State Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.EDUCATION:
- Bachelors of Science (or higher) degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Vermont.EXPERIENCE:
