Job Details - Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses and traumatic injuries.
- General Surgeon is always on call at Springfield Hospital for urgent/emergent surgery such as appendectomy, surgery to relieve bowel obstruction or repair of complex lacerations.
- Commonly performed surgical procedures include: Colonoscopy, Upper GI Endoscopy, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Soft Tissue Mass Excision, Open and Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair, Open and Laparoscopic Umbilical Hernia Repair, Open and Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia Repair, Excisional Biopsies, Hemorrhoid Procedures, Oncologic Surgery for Breast or Colon Cancer, Antireflux Surgery, Skin Grafting.
Job Requirements - 2+ years of current OR experience in a hospital setting - Required
- Circulator w/ strong Ortho experience
- 3 months travel (or more) REQUIRED
- Bachelor Degree - Preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment

- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - MUST be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
