Job Details - Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses and traumatic injuries.
- General Surgeon is always on call at Springfield Hospital for urgent/emergent surgery such as appendectomy, surgery to relieve bowel obstruction or repair of complex lacerations.
- Commonly performed surgical procedures include: Colonoscopy, Upper GI Endoscopy, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Soft Tissue Mass Excision, Open and Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair, Open and Laparoscopic Umbilical Hernia Repair, Open and Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia Repair, Excisional Biopsies, Hemorrhoid Procedures, Oncologic Surgery for Breast or Colon Cancer, Antireflux Surgery, Skin Grafting.
Job Requirements - 2+ years of current CST experience in a hospital setting - Required
- ENDO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
- NBSTSA Required - Equivalent Cert not Accepted
- Previous Travel - Preferred
- Bachelor Degree - Preferred
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - MUST be uploaded with profile (NBSTSA, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
