Upon arrival, unless your condition requires immediate attention from a Doctor or Physician's Assistant, you will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of your condition and the appropriate course of treatment. The Emergency Department is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year. Non-billable orientation is required, totaling 0 hours. Holiday coverage will include a 1.25% call, call-back, and charge. Weekend work is required every other weekend and includes holiday coverage as necessary. Applicants must have 2 years of current emergency department experience in a hospital setting. A BSN is strongly preferred. Previous travel experience is required, with at least 6 months of experience. This is a small community without public transport. This position requires the nurse to have a personal vehicle.
