- Maintain a company-wide culture of learning so that Capital One continues to progress as a technology company.
- Facilitate the successful delivery of projects across the company through internally democratizing knowledge specific to Capital One's tech ecosystem. -Across our organization, you'll find teams working towards these goals in a number of ways. Sometimes there will be partnership with our sister Learning and Development team in order to create in-person learning programs and workshops. Other times there will be more traditional software projects that focus on developing educational content and tooling for Capital One's engineering community. And it's not uncommon to find us providing consultation to organizations across the enterprise who'd like assistance with their own educational efforts. -What You'll Do: -
- Architect, build, and manage the team responsible for developing our new catalog of educational content in service of the C1 engineering community.
- Partner with engineering teams and organizations across the company to translate educational needs into executable vision for your team. Initial areas of focus include foundational C1 engineering knowledge and improving our engineering onboarding experiences.
- Develop and maintain connective tissue between our organization and the rest of the C1 engineering community in order to inform our roadmap.
- Constantly evaluate team and individual output and adjust processes and strategy accordingly.
- Provide mentorship to members of your team and guidance to others across the organization. -Basic Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- At least 4 years of people management experience -Preferred Qualifications: -
