Our innovative and fast-growing startup is looking for a Head of Sales to help drive growth and deliver on our vision. Quanta Credit Services is a startup focused on providing digital-first collections solutions for lenders, banks, and fintechs. Simply put, we work with our clients to build email and text collections campaigns, resulting in better experiences for collections customers and better business outcomes for lenders. We are looking for an experienced professional who wants to help us build our company from the ground up as we advance on our journey. This individual will report directly to the CEO and play a key leadership role in establishing the vision for Quanta's growth. We are looking for someone talented and experienced, with a passion for strategically building businesses and a proven track record of identifying emerging trends, entering new markets, and developing innovative products or services. Why Is This Role Important? As a start-up, we've only just begun to deliver on our vision. The Head of Sales will lead our growth strategy by identifying and assessing expansion vertical opportunities, as well as expanding the company's market presence by leading prospective clients through the sales funnel. He or she will solidify Quanta's competitive edge, drive product innovation based on client needs and industry insights, and enable sustainable growth for the company. Role Responsibilities: Prospect Identification & Outreach - Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients and leveraging your network as well as the company's management and founder networks.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing prospects, ensuring regular follow-ups and touchpoints.
- Prepare for and represent Quanta at industry and other events.
Sales Negotiations & Closures - Lead the negotiation process, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Draft and manage contracts, ensuring all details are accurate and aligned with business objectives.
Sales Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Work closely with the CEO to align sales efforts with broader business goals.
- Build a sales team as demand grows.
Collaboration & Reporting - Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and product, to ensure a cohesive approach to client acquisition and retention.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the CEO and other stakeholders.
Sales Tools & Documentation - Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and ensure accurate data entry.
- Create compelling presentations and sales materials using PowerPoint and other tools to support your efforts.
Job Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales in the Financial Services industry, preferably selling to mid-size banks, lenders and fintechs
- 1-3 years of experience leading a sales team
- Candidate should have a working understanding of consumer credit and collections
- Ability to analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify and pursue new business vertical opportunities and product solutions
- Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with company goals and drive growth
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed revenue targets
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals and partnerships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and create and deliver compelling presentations to clients
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and the cross-functional internal team
