SG2 Recruiting is supporting Rancher Government Solutions in a search for a Technical Account Manager responsible for delivering exceptional customer guidance, support, and enablement focused on SUSE Rancher software products. You will work closely with our government agency clients, providing technical expertise, proactive assistance, and strategic insights to maximize the value they derive from our solutions. This role is instrumental in ensuring a seamless and successful customer experience throughout the engagement lifecycle. What You Will Be Doing: - Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for government agency customers, understanding their technical needs, challenges, and goals.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance, troubleshooting, and proactive support on SUSE Rancher software products.
- Create and present product demos to customers as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customers' requirements and align with their business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their organizations and assisting in their long-term success with SUSE Rancher products.
- Conduct regular account reviews, deliver product updates, and recommend enhancements to optimize customers' usage and achieve desired outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding SUSE Rancher software within existing accounts.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to developing technical documentation, training materials, and best practices to support customers in effectively utilizing SUSE Rancher software.
- Other duties as assigned. What You Will Need:
- This role requires a top secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. Candidates with a TS/SCI clearance and a Counterintelligence Polygraph will be preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical account management or customer-facing role, preferably within the software industry.
- A solid technical background in SUSE Rancher software products, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.
- Experience in DevSecOps in general, with an emphasis on Kubernetes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on customer success and satisfaction.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of government sector regulations, processes, and compliance requirements is a plus. It's a Plus If You Have This:
- Hands-on container orchestration and management experience with tools like RKE2 and K3
- Hands-on IaC experience with tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Saltstack
- Hands-on Linux and (virtual) cloud experience with tools like VSphere, AWS, or Azure
