FLSA Status: Non-ExemptSchedule: Monday - Friday, overtime may be required, on-call rotation as neededReports to: Area Maintenance Manager Job DescriptionLevco Management is currently hiring a Floating Maintenance Technician for a portfolio of properties in Virginia. We are seeking an individual with experience in the apartment industry who is dependable, hard-working, and interested in developing their technical skills. This position is responsible for maintaining curb appeal, completing maintenance requests, preventative maintenance programs, and apartments turnovers. Qualifications - 3 years of residential maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience repairing and replacing residential HVAC equipment.
- General maintenance skills (electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly without assistance.
- You must provide your own hand tools including handheld power tools.
- EPA 608 universal certification required.
- Journeyman HVAC/R certification preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
- Use of your personal vehicle for daily and occasional overnight travel, as needed.
- Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check as well as a maintenance skills assessment. Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turnovers.
- General painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, appliance, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and replacements, as needed.
- Complete maintenance requests.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain grounds on a daily basis.
- Completing thorough inspections of the common areas on a regular basis.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Any other duties your supervisor assigns to you. Benefits
