DHA Verona is looking for a Dental Hygienist in _ Verona, VA _to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.

Compensation- $50/hour Responsibilities: - Conducting vital signs assessments and dental charting- Performing periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services- Implementing fluoride treatments and protective sealants- Removing calculus, stains, and plaque from above and below the gum line- Providing patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care- Adhering to strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Maintaining accurate medical documentation using Eaglesoft or similar software Requirements: - Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of Virginia- Knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, and infection control practices- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards patient care- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
