We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Analyst for a client-facing role within our Department of Defense (DoD) financial management team. As a key contributor, you will manage and optimize financial processes, leveraging your expertise with SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI to deliver impactful solutions. Onsite presence required as needed in Alexandria, VA.DescriptionAs a key member of our Department of Defense (DoD) financial management team, you will play a vital role in enhancing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI.Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand financial management needs, develop product roadmaps, and implement tailored solutions.
- Partner with development teams to translate requirements into products that leverage financial data, identify trends, and produce visually compelling reports and dashboards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining dashboards/analytics, offering guidance to developers and supporting end-users.
- Support change management initiatives, developing strategies that encourage user adoption of analytic tools and aligning objectives with development priorities.
- Conduct application analyses to identify improvements, suggest efficiencies, and guide development teams in meeting community needs.
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user sessions to promote analytic tool adoption.
- Align goals and objectives across analytical products and portfolios.Measures of Success:
- Successful implementation of change management strategies to enhance Advana tool adoption, driving engagement with DoD FM stakeholders.
- Delivery of new capabilities for DoD FM Program/Budget offices, reducing manual workloads and supporting mission-critical objectives.
- Leading weekly meetings, office hours, demonstrations, and training sessions to ensure alignment with product leads and government stakeholders.Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret acceptable to start).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DoD Financial Management within DoD Headquarters or Components.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum environments, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work onsite at least 1 day per week (Pentagon & McLean, VA).Nice to Have:
