The successful candidate will have knowledge of process management strategies, risk methodologies, and an ability to build relationships with business and risk partners. The ability to think from a 'customer back' perspective is also critical.This role supports Capital One Enterprise Data (eData) and is positioned in the Enterprise Services Risk Office. We are the first line of defense to help ensure our Company remains well-managed and avoids unnecessary risk supporting our Enterprise Data teams. In this position, you will play a key role in enhancing our risk processes for Enterprise consumption and experience tools and platforms across Capital One. As the risk team for eData, we are on the cutting edge of risk management, providing support for our critical business strategies as Capital One has taken a bold journey to build a technology company, while operating in a complex, highly regulated business. The eData team is always thinking about game changing products and experiences to benefit the company, and as their risk partner- you are a central player in all the excitement. -Specific responsibilities of the Risk Manager include and are not limited to: - Partner with the eData risk team in the development and execution of the Syndicat risk office vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.
- Partner with the eData Risk team and the eData Product and Tech teams to deliver on the identification and development of risks, issues, and/or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure.
- Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives -
- Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups
- Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisorsAbout You:

- Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of experience in process management or 3 years of experience in risk management
- At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clientsPreferred Qualifications:
