Fredericksburg, VA
Pay From: $18 per hour

MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant
Must be an experienced Medical Assistant
Must have 1 plus years of Medical Assistant experience
Must have a background with ENT, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN and/or within the Surgical field
Must have experience working on EMR
Must have knowledge of taking vitals
Must have excellent writing and verbal skills
Must have sterilization skills
Must have experience setting up sterilization trays
Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant is preferred
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Medical Scribing experience is highly preferred

DUTIES:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Responsible for patient flow, physician assisting, instrument processing, telephone calls, phlebotomy and other clinical duties
Prepare for the daily activities by checking schedules and preparing rooms for patient use i.e. clean, organize and stock rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
Assist physicians with patient care and education
Provide direct assistance to physician with surgical, medical and cosmetic
Taking medical histories
Recording vital signs
Explaining treatment procedures to patients
Preparing patients for examination
Assisting the physician during the examination
Administer patient immunization
Order labs
Phone triage
Preparation of surgical trays
Sterilization of surgical tools
