We are looking for dynamic individuals to act as "Game Changers" in driving operational efficiency to our customers. In this role, you will be supporting the Department of Homeland Security's mission, specifically working to enhance the security and resiliency of the aviation sector.Your Impact to the Mission:
As the Program Director, you will manage multiple teams and tasks responsible for providing training resources and logistical support to field operations to ensure national security. Our customer is looking for innovative methods and technologies to more rapidly respond and mitigate emerging threats.Experience Needed to Be Successful: - We are looking for an individual who brings a blend of strong leadership experience and aviation industry expertise.
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge and familiarity with various screening and explosive threat technologies deployed across US airports.Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience leading teams of 100+ staff
- Knowledge in Aviation Screening, Explosive Threat Detection, or Mission Critical Logistics
- Any experience leading enterprise training is a plus
- Proven ability to grow and develop programs
- Track record of implementing process improvements and technical optimizations
- Previous DHS/Law Enforcement experience Basic Qualifiers:
- Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree
- Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree?Yes
- Required Certification(s): Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Minimum Years of Overall Experience:10
- Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field:5
- Minimum Clearance to Start:Secret
