Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum in accordance with scope of practice credentials, privileges, experience, education, and competency verification.Requirements:Education/Licensure/CertificationBachelor's degree in nursingGraduate from an accredited school of nursingCurrent registered nurse licensure in the State of VirginiaBasic Life Support (BLS) certification10 CEUs annuallySkills2 years of experience in perioperative RN or RNFA experiencePreferred Requirements:Education/Licensure/CertificationRN First Assistant certification (CRNFA)Advanced Cardiac life Support (ACLS) certificationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on patient populationCertified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certificationThis organization participates in E-Verify.
