About the Position: The position will teach four (4) undergraduate courses (lower and upper level such as Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations) each semester and provide some service duties associated with the department's undergraduate degree. This is a state-funded, full-time (9-month) instructional (non-tenure-track) faculty position with the option of additional summer teaching opportunities. The position is renewable contingent upon satisfactory performance. Responsibilities: Instruction/Teaching - Teaches four (4) undergraduate courses (lower and upper level) each semester such as Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
Service - Coordinates courses, mentors students, serves on departmental committees.
Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in related field;
- MS degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate level mathematics;
- Experience teaching mathematics in a university setting;
- Clear understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, and learning outcome alignment;
- Exceptional communication skills; and
- Genuine interest in nurturing the academic growth of students from diverse backgrounds.
