Join our growing team supporting the government agencies in its mission as a Network Architect Subject Matter Expert in Herndon, VA.Responsibilities - Implementing and supporting Cloud, Enterprise, and Service provider Networks, Network Hardening, Cloud Migration, and Ansible Automation.
- Identification of INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
- Providing technical guidance and direction for TCP/IP transport network design and engineering, networking routing protocols, advanced virtual networking technologies.
- Analyzing the optimization of network system performance.
- Overseeing the strategic interface of network systems configuration.
- Assessing network engineering technologies, computing systems hardware and software protocols.
- Providing high-level technical advice and guidance to managers and technical resources on networking technologies to meet current and future organizational needs.
- Establishing overall strategic network standards and priorities.
- Identification of technical trends in information technology, awareness of ongoing IT projects, and business unit requirements.
- Continuous integration, test automation and/or SecDevOps on iterative development projects.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph required to start.
- B.S., Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 16 years of experience.
- CCIE Certification- both written and lab.
- JNCIE Certification- both written and lab.
- Deep knowledge of MPLS, TCP/IP, VPN and IP telephony.
- Developing IP/MPLS network architecture.
- Developing and executing MPLS VPN Service Standards for global network.
- Linux Systems Engineering experience, including: AWS Deployment, Apache/Nginx, PostgreSQL, Linux, KVM virtualization, Bash and Perl Scripting.
- Red Hat Ansible Automation.
- Enterprise Architecture frameworks and principles.
- Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) Support.
- Cloud experience (AWS, VPC, transit gateway, private link, ELB, etc.); Azure (connectivity services - Vnet, Virtual WAN, VPN gateway, application protection, application delivery and network monitoring, etc.).Desired Qualifications:
