City/StateNorfolk, VAOverviewWork ShiftRotating (United States of America)Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a full time Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist!Schedule: M-F, 8am-4:30pm, clinical specialist will staff approximately once every 5thweekend.Manages patient drug therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards. Maintains current knowledge of drug use through continuing education. Serves as the primary resource for drug information within the hospital. Assures the appropriateness of all physician medication orders. Precepts pharmacy students as assigned.Three years of experience required. For candidates who do not have three years pharmacist experience, may substitute a PGY-1 residency program PLUS one year of experience or completion of a PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency program.
