We are seeking to hire a reliable, dependable and knowledgeable, skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. This role involves operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation for marine and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in challenging environments. Key Responsibilities: Operation: Operate UHP water blasting equipment for cleaning, coating removal, and surface preparation. Ensure proper setup and alignment of equipment before use. Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance on pumps, hoses, nozzles, and other components. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in UHP systems. Keep equipment in optimal condition to minimize downtime. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements, to protect personnel and equipment. Conduct safety checks and inspections before and during equipment operation. Adhere to environmental regulations and proper waste disposal practices. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance. Report equipment malfunctions and provide recommendations for improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet project goals. Provide technical expertise and training to team members as needed.
