Key Responsibilities

Prepares and submits hospital and clinic claims to third-party insurance carriers
Follows up on unpaid claims and processes rejections for resubmission
Maintains quality customer service and meets production and quality assurance standards


Required Qualifications

3 years of recent billing experience in Critical Access or Acute Care facilities or physician billing
Medicare billing experience is required
Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
Familiarity with medical terminology
