A company is looking for a Medical Director for the South Central Market.



Key Responsibilities

Oversee medical policy implementation and support the development of clinical/medical programs
Manage utilization review, quality assurance, and various review processes including prior authorization and appeals
Act as a liaison to network providers and facilities, providing clinical expertise and direction for medical management programs



Required Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in the Health Care Delivery System
Active and current Texas state medical license without encumbrances
M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty
Post-graduate direct patient care experience
