Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: - Provide technical expertise and analysis support on current and future Command, Control, and Communications (C3) concepts, strategies, systems, and architectures required to conduct joint operations in the air, land, maritime, space, and cyberspace domains.
- Provide functional analysis, requirements, and programmatic oversight to accelerate and synchronize the fielding of modernized C3 solutions across the joint force while identifying associated risks and opportunities.
- Assist in developing concept of operations, requirements, and policy implementing the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) concept.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support to CJADC2 Cross Functional Team and operational planning teams in the areas of capability needs, all-domain situational awareness, joint fires, and data standards.
- Support and participate in governing and/or capability boards such as the Command, Control, Communications Leadership Board (C3LB), Military Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Executive Board (MC4EB), and the C4/Cyber Functional Capabilities Board.
- Develop recommendations, reports, and briefing materials required to guide and inform the DoD CIO C3-related decisions and capabilities.
- Support DoD communications and information technology policy initiatives by leveraging knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Defense Acquisition System (DAS), Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), and other DoD formal decision and staffing processes.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:12 years related experience plus Master's degree in a technical discipline or 14 years of relevant experience plus Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently, but also as a part of a team, with the following specific experience:
