We are looking for experienced Windows Applications Packager (Cloud) Systems Engineer to perform a variety of engineering analyses, software, hardware, development, integration, testing, maintenance tasks, and support duties. The team consists of about 20 engineers and are looking for a Windows Systems Engineer to support Azure Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing problem resolution, supporting existing infrastructure services, and integrating new capabilities within the scope of required skills. If you enjoy small teams and can work independently, this may be the job for you.Responsibilities: Research and solution best method of installing/deploying applications in the Azure CloudMonitor, evaluate applications, Cloud/Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, and application deploymentsResearch, solution, and deliver on new technical requirementsProvide troubleshooting and Engineering support at the Tier3 level for Windows 10 (and higher) desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows workstationsTroubleshoot and support Windows Server 2019 (and higher) technologiesProvide troubleshooting and engineering support for Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Group PolicyProvide troubleshooting support involving desktop applications including M365 products and classification management toolsCollaborate with stakeholders internally and externally Document system changes/ updates Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Defender including utilization for reporting and patchingSupport other Tier 3 and Tier 4 personnel with user issues, including application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user assistance items as neededCreate and deliver briefings to customer at various levelsCreate processes to automate task and configuration items using PowerShell Remote Work: One (1) day a week remote after completion of three (3) months on the project. ABCRequired Education, Experience, & Skills - The right candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree are preferred. Demonstrated experience with application packaging tools and technologiesExpertise in deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)Experience with configuring and maintaining cloud-based environmentsDevelop and maintain best practice workflow for software requests, procurement, and deploymentsSignificant engineering experience supporting Windows platform environments with the following core MS Windows platforms, services, and tools:Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and higher) and application compatibility to include:Active DirectoryGroup PolicyDNS, DHCPStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong documentation skills; Experience creating technical documentationRobust troubleshooting skillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
