The Brass Tacks - Works with the Columbia Hospitality leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production, balancing the immediate and long-term needs.
- Oversees data security, management, and governance.
- Defines the company's overall technology strategy to support business objectives.
- Consistently communicates, both written and verbal, with all Columbia stakeholders at the Seattle Support Center as well as individual properties and team members in the field, property owners, vendors and partners.
- Adapts to a diverse portfolio of various systems, platforms and processes, understanding when to flex for customization, and when to pursue a consistent solution,
- Facilitates the development and implementation of disaster recovery and IT security failure plans.
- Collaborates with Columbia's leadership team in the preparation and management of operational and project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Builds a strategic project plan to support the technology needs for current and future growth of the organization.
- Defines priorities and directs the execution of the plan, along with supporting key department leaders to ensure that the goals are achieved.
- Coordinates necessary components of compliance and security as it relates to Information Systems.
- Oversees logistics and purchasing of IT hardware and supplies.
- Proactively identifies and solves or elevates project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or qualifications to key stakeholders.
- Measures ROI to optimize decision making; collect and interpret metrics and analytics key to project.
- Participates in business development efforts as the IS skill set expert.
- Functions as the point of contact for ownership relationships regarding IS. The Nitty Gritty
