Job Title:Structural Analyst II - Lunar Transportation Location: Remote (anywhere in US) Duration: 6 Months + Extension Pay Rate: Please see below Florida/Arizona/Remote: $46.18 Alabama/Colorado/Texas: $50.80 Washington/California/Virginia: $55.41 Qualification Questions: - Do you have experience in structural analysis and the use of FEA analysis tools (ANSYS preferred) and the validation of structural analysis models? Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generate and run structural analysis models and provide design feedback
- Provide feedback on structural design and quantify performance over a variety of environments
- Analyze design of fluid system components.
- Support complete life cycle of fluid systems components from definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation
- Work closely with designers to improve designs to deliver better than current state of the art performance Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in structural analysis and mechanical component design
- Experience in the use of FEA analysis tools (ANSYS preferred) and the validation of structural analysis models
- Experience with classical hand calculations for stress analysis based on common aerospace reference materials (Shigley, Bruhn, Roark etc.)
- Experience in 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred)
- Experience analyzing components in high vibration environments
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired:
