What makes you a strong candidate: You have 1+ year of experience in customer service. You are proficient in attention to detail. You are beginner in Microsoft 365. English - Native or fully fluent. Responsibilities and more: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Office Administrator will play a crucial role in the day-to-day administrative activities within their designated site. The incumbent will provide hands-on support to the Plant Manager, including but not limited to serving as a central point of contact for internal teams, external vendors and visitors, managing office supplies, equipment and documentation, and assist with general office administration and data entry. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as a central point of contact for internal teams and external contacts. Greet visitors, guide them to the boardroom and ensure a best-in-class experience. Coordinate boardroom bookings and assist with client meetings to cleanliness and order of boardroom and necessary equipment is available. Regularly inspect shared office spaces such as the employee lunchroom, company boardroom and reception area, and escalate minor repairs or fixture changes required. Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, assist with on-site coordination and support document management and filing. Work with IT and internal teams to coordinate office equipment when required. Assist with basic data-entry and report generation when required. Provide on-site HR-related support such as new hire orientations, coordination of company-equipment and office arrangements. Assist with personnel timesheets and submissions. Support ad hoc projects when required. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year experience working in customer service. High diploma required. Beginner proficiency of Microsoft Office suite required (MS Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook). Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism and composure in varying circumstances. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization. Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic work environment. High attention to detail and meticulous. Adaptable, resourceful and a willingness to learn. Working towards or completion of post-secondary education considered a bonus. Previous experience working in an office administration, reception or equivalent role considered an asset. This is a Monday to Friday position with a schedule aligned to the core business hours. This is an on-site position working in an office setting. Lifting may be required from time-to-time (+/- 10 lbs). There are no travel requirements. Job benefits: Paid time off.
