A company is looking for an Electrical Studies Engineer to perform electrical studies on substations and reactive power studies.



Key Responsibilities

Conduct power flow, short-circuit, harmonics, and stability studies for substations
Evaluate reactive power needs and design compensation strategies
Provide technical support for substation and transmission projects, ensuring compliance with standards


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems and substations
Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, ASPEN)
