A company is looking for an Art Director for Book Covers.



Key Responsibilities

Art direct, design, and manage a list of 10 to 20 book titles per season from concept to finished cover
Commission and direct freelance illustrators and photographers for cover art production
Compile editorial feedback and guide art direction through all phases of art development


Required Qualifications

A minimum of 8-10 years of design experience within publishing or a similar industry, including 3 years of art directing
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator)
Strong interest and familiarity with the Christian Book market
Evidence of fine design sense and typography sensitivity
