Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 1 year minimum License: State radiology license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: GE Equipment experience required, EPIC charting experience required Description: This MRI department conducts a wide variety of exams. Day shift staff engage more with specialized studies, including Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI. The night shift focuses primarily on routine scans such as brains, spines, abdomens, and extremities. The complexity of cases varies from ambulatory to those requiring total assistance by RNs or other staff. There are generally more ambulatory patients during the day and more patients requiring assistance during the night. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with various patient services. Candidates should be prepared to float between different units as needed. Previous experience working in an accredited lab is preferred. All travelers should expect to float between comparable units. Orientation includes 40 hours and candidates will complete modules pre-start. Travelers are expected to work three out of five major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. More...
