- Report to management on performance, make recommendations for process/programmatic changes
- Supervise mechanics in the maintenance shop, which includes coaching, counseling, training, and taking corrective actions
- Work with Human Resources in decisions of hiring, terminations, evaluations, promotions, etc.
- Perform inspections of outside repairs to ensure all work was done properly and completed in accordance with the Company's safety and compliance procedures and federal and state regulations
- Identify training opportunities, document issues, and communicate with all staff
- Conduct quality control inspections, track issues and resolutions to ensure all work is properly completed
- Oversee the maintenance shop's inventory to ensure the equipment and parts are always available
- Keep up with technology such as engines, emission systems, transmissions, electrical, etc.Education
- High school diploma/GED
