Position Summary: Our Client is seeking an Operating Room Nurse. An Operating Room Nurse (OR Nurse) is a registered nurse who specializes in providing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. They assist the surgical team, monitor patients' vital signs, prepare the operating room, and ensure a sterile environment. OR Nurses also provide emotional support to patients and help with post-operative care. Key Responsibilities: Operating Room Nurse responsibilities include preparing the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment, assisting the surgical team during procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, providing pre-and post-operative care, and offering emotional support to patients. They also ensure patient safety and handle surgical instruments and supplies. Required Qualifications: Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as an RN in Washington State.
