We are working with a highly respected client of ours in the financial sector who needs to add a new Network Security Engineer to their team in a full-time, direct hire position. This job will require collaboration with internal compliance, auditors, and outside vendors to ensure a secure computing environment, and is an integral position for our client.<br>&nbsp;<br>Duties and Responsibilities to include:<br>&bull; Conduct web security assessments and penetration test of both in-house and hosted critical applications<br>&bull; Monitor and investigate security events that are reported by monitoring devices<br>&bull; Develop appropriate rules to meet regulatory compliance requirements<br>&bull; Collaborate with other Network Security Engineers and IS personnel to ensure that monitoring and logging is integrated with the multitude of internal systems so as to ensure that security is effectively employed<br>&nbsp;<br>Qualifications:<br>&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or equivalent<br>&bull; Five years of relevant security experience, and a total of seven years of IT experience preferred<br>&bull; Security and technical network certifications, like CISSP, CISA, GPEN, GWAPT and CCNA, CCNP or CCNE are preferred but not required<br>&bull; GLBA or SOX experience and understanding is beneficial but not required<br>&bull; Must be a team player with strong communication skills<br>&nbsp;<br>This Network Security Engineer job is a high priority opening, and submitted resumes that are a close match to the need will be reviewed in a timely manner until the position is filled.
