A company is looking for a Remote Orthopedic Surgery Coder.



Key Responsibilities

Review documentation and diagnostic results to extract data and apply appropriate CPT, Modifiers, and ICD-10 codes
Accurately code conditions and procedures in accordance with AMA CPT guidelines and ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines
Support coding manager in coding, billing, internal and external reporting, and regulatory compliance


Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or 5+ years of Orthopedic Coding experience in lieu of diploma/GED
3 years of coding experience in Orthopedic surgical procedures and podiatry in both inpatient and outpatient settings
CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification from AAPC
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
