Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (18:30-06:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in acute care License: Current State License required Certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience in OR circulation, mother/baby, triage (preferred but not required), flexibility, good communication skills Job Description: - Serve in a teaching hospital environment. - Work in the Birth Center with 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds. - Handle a patient volume of approximately 110 deliveries per month. - Adhere to patient ratios per AWHONN guidelines. - Utilize electronic health records systems: Centricity and Paragon. - Expected to float to the Mother/Baby unit as needed. - Engage with adults as the primary patient population. - Maintain a professional appearance with blue and blue/green scrubs.
